What We’re Responsible For (and What We’re Not)

At Divinity Consult, we pride ourselves on being transparent about what we do and what we don’t. We know that studying abroad is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make, and we want you to go into it with complete clarity and confidence.
Our role is to guide you through every stage of the process: from your first consultation and document preparation to university applications, scholarship guidance, accommodation support, and visa preparation. We’re here to make sure your application is as strong, accurate, and competitive as possible and that you understand every step before you take it.
That said, there are parts of the process we don’t control, and we think it’s only fair to be upfront about that. While our team works tirelessly to ensure your application stands out, we cannot guarantee admission. The final decision always rests with the universities themselves, based on their own internal criteria, capacity, and timelines. Nonetheless please note that while final decisions rest solely with the universities, we apply to multiple institutions on your behalf to maximize your chances of success. Where your profile meets admission standards, we ensure you secure an offer even if it may not be from your initial university of choice. What we do guarantee is that your application will be complete, compelling, and submitted with care giving you the best possible chance of success.
Similarly, when it comes to visas, we can’t guarantee approvals, as those decisions are made solely by the respective embassies and immigration authorities. We’ll prepare you thoroughly from document checks to mock interviews and guide you on how to present yourself confidently. But the final outcome is ultimately at the discretion of the issuing body, and we respectfully exclude liability for any visa refusal or delay. In cases where a visa refusal occurs for a fixable reason, Divinity Consult will provide full visa assistance again at no additional cost for up to two reapplications maximum.
Our responsibility to you continues until you’ve arrived at your destination and are safely settled in, typically within one to two weeks after your arrival. After that, we step back officially, as our active consultancy role concludes. Of course, you’re always welcome to reach out to us if you need advice, reassurance, or direction later on. We’ll always be happy to help informally where we can, just know that beyond that initial settling period, we no longer act as your formal representatives or agents.
